Fortress Solutions is changing the way security is done. We’re using technology to offer real-time round-the-clock home monitoring that helps prevent crime and ensure safety. Our system can be tailored to your needs, and we can respond to an emergency within seconds - all without breaking the bank. 

Security cameras have led most of us into a false sense of security. The cameras may capture footage, but unless you’re up all night wearing a security uniform and a baton, you’re not likely to react to things that you don’t see in real time. You didn’t sign up to be the full time security guard for your home.


That’s where Fortress Solutions comes in. We’ve utilized technology to safely and security monitor your cameras offsite so that you don’t have to. We’ll monitor according to your instructions, and we can tell if it’s a bird, a raccoon, or an intruder potentially coming to do you harm. If there is a real threat, we can have police on the phone within 90 seconds. 


While we’ve started the business with a residential focus, we also have options available for commercial monitoring as well. If you are a business owner, your commercial space is your home away from home - be it a warehouse, an assembly plant, or a retail space. We offer corporate packages where the number of cameras may increase, but our commitment to quality security and top-level customer service remains the same.

Steve Danelon

Steve has spent nearly his entire career in the security business. He first began his career as a security guard for Eaton’s department stores (he just looks young!), and then quickly transitioned into the corporate security market. During his corporate career, Steve was influential in bringing the American style of security and customer service to Canada, and had served as a Vice President in top-ranked security organizations.


When looking for his next opportunity, Steve decided that he wanted to bring that same quality security to the individuals who needed it most. Home security was due for a serious upgrade, and there’s no reason that technology could not be used to make real-time monitoring affordable for homeowners and businesses alike.


When he’s not setting up new clients, Steve is busy coaching and managing his kids’ hockey teams, or working the grill weather permitting. He is active within his local business community, and is proud to say that Fortress Solutions was recently nominated for Innovative Startup of the Year by the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce.
